Growatt Inverter Certification

The supplied Authorization to Mark explicitly covers the SPE 12000 US used in this kit, along with SPE 6000 US, SPE 8000 US and SPE 10000 US. The authorization covers the cETLus mark for the inverter standards listed above.

System Configuration & Installation

For DC energy-storage installations, the inverter and battery must meet the applicable certification conditions and manufacturer requirements for voltage, current, protection, controls and compatibility. Installation must follow the applicable electrical code and equipment instructions. Confirm coverage for the exact installed configuration against the certification documentation.

Warranty & Support

• Growatt SPE 12000 US inverter: 5-year standard manufacturer warranty.
• GSL Energy GSL051280A-B-GBP2 14.34kWh batteries: 10-year manufacturer warranty, as specified in the IP20 battery datasheet. Applies to each battery in either package, subject to manufacturer terms.
• Canadian Solar CS6.1-54TM-450H all-black panels: 25-year limited product warranty for eligible rooftop installations; the standard 12-year limited product warranty applies where the extended rooftop coverage does not apply.
• Canadian Solar panel performance: 30-year limited linear power performance warranty.

12,000W rated pure sine wave output; 120/240V split-phase; 48V battery system; dual MPPT; solar, battery, utility and generator inputs. Install in a dry, ventilated, protected location per the manual.

24 Canadian Solar 450W Panels for Harsh Canadian Weather

The all-black monofacial panels are rated for snow loads up to 8,100 Pa and wind loads up to 6,000 Pa under the manufacturer's specified mounting conditions. Matching panel construction passed independent 50 mm hail testing. A panel operating-temperature range of −40°C to +85°C supports use through Canada's changing seasons.

These ratings apply to the panels—not the entire system. Install the inverter in a dry indoor location and keep batteries within their specified operating temperatures.

Choose Your GSL Battery Storage

Both options use GSL Energy GSL051280A-B-GBP2 14.34kWh IP20 indoor wall-mount LiFePO4 batteries. Choose two batteries for 28.68kWh nominal storage or four batteries for 57.36kWh nominal storage.

Nominal storage is not usable AC energy. Battery discharge limits, conversion losses and operating conditions affect output and runtime. Follow the selected battery manuals for wiring, temperature limits, clearances and protection.

The connection diagram is conceptual, not an installation plan or packing list. Confirm PV string layout, cold-weather voltage, mounting, wiring and electrical protection for your site. DIY preparation must follow local requirements; arrange any required electrical work, permits and inspections.
