Growatt SPE 6000US Inverter

6,000W rated output; 120/240V split-phase; integrated MPPT solar charging; utility or a compatible generator can supplement solar, subject to the inverter requirements. Wi-Fi monitoring included. Install in a dry, ventilated, protected location per the manual.

Available power depends on battery limits, solar input, temperature, state of charge and loads. The inverter rating does not guarantee 6kW continuous battery-only AC output.

10 Canadian Solar 450W Panels for Harsh Canadian Weather

The all-black monofacial panels are rated for snow loads up to 8,100 Pa and wind loads up to 6,000 Pa under the manufacturer's specified mounting conditions. Matching panel construction passed independent 50 mm hail testing. A panel operating-temperature range of −40°C to +85°C supports use through Canada's changing seasons.

These ratings apply to the panels—not the entire system. Install the inverter in a dry indoor location and keep batteries within their specified operating temperatures.

Choose Your Battery Storage

Both options use LiFePO4 batteries. Choose Growatt ALP if you prefer the same brand for your inverter and battery, or GSL for a value-focused alternative. Compare the storage capacity and price shown for each kit.

AC energy is lower after conversion losses; runtime varies with conditions. The GSL indoor wall-mount battery has an IP20 enclosure and a 0–55°C charging range. Confirm ALP mounting accessories and follow each battery manual for temperature limits and protection.

Installation Materials and Protection

The connection diagram is conceptual, not an installation plan or packing list. Confirm PV string layout, cold-weather voltage, mounting, wiring and electrical protection for your site. DIY preparation must follow local requirements; arrange any required electrical work, permits and inspections.
