Growatt 24kW Off-Grid Solar Kit for Canadian Homes & Cottages

Generate solar power during the day and store energy for use after sunset. This off-grid solar kit combines 36 Canadian Solar panels, two Growatt inverters and your choice of 2, 4 or 6 GSL batteries for your home, cottage or rural property.

Choose the Battery Storage That Fits Your Needs

Every package includes the same inverters and 16.2kW solar array. Choose a larger battery package to store more energy and run the same appliances for longer between charges.

• 2 batteries — 28.68kWh: the entry-level storage option for lower power needs when running on batteries alone.
• 4 batteries — 57.36kWh: twice the storage of the 2-battery package, with more capacity for evening and overnight use.
• 6 batteries — 86.04kWh: the most storage and battery power capability in this range, suited to customers planning for heavier loads and longer runtime.

All three options use GSL wall-mounted lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. Runtime depends on what you power, how long you use it and the battery charge available.

Split-Phase or Three-Phase Power

Two Growatt SPE 12000US inverters can be configured for 120/240V split-phase power, commonly used in Canadian homes, or three-phase power for compatible equipment. Your installer will select the right configuration and confirm how much power is available for your equipment. Wi-Fi monitoring is included so you can keep an eye on system performance.

Canadian Solar Panels for Demanding Weather

The 36 all-black Canadian Solar 450W panels provide a combined 16.2kW solar array. They are tested for heavy snow and strong wind, and matching panel construction has passed independent 50mm hail testing. These weather ratings depend on correct mounting and apply to the panels—not the batteries or the entire installation.

Optional Generator Backup

A compatible generator can provide another source of power during extended cloudy periods. Generator selection and connection details are covered in the equipment manuals and installation planning. The generator and its installation equipment are sold separately.

Racking is not included in the package. Additional wiring and safety equipment may be required. A qualified installer should confirm the design, equipment compatibility and local permit requirements. Technical specifications, wiring instructions and operating limits are provided in the equipment manuals.
