FAQ
Can I wire this into my RV or cabin panel?
No. This model has 2 plug-in outlets only. For a panel connection, choose the hardwire model.
What battery do I need?
At full 3000W it draws about 280A from a 12V battery. A 200Ah+ LiFePO4 battery with a 250A+ BMS handles heavy loads. For lighter loads like laptops and lights, 100Ah is fine.
What cable and fuse should I use?
The included 2 ft 4 AWG cable suits moderate loads. For sustained use near the full 3000W, we recommend upgrading to 4/0 AWG cable, with a 350–400A Class T or ANL fuse on the positive cable, close to the battery.
Can I run it off my truck's starting battery?
Only for light loads with the engine running. Heavy loads will flatten a starting battery quickly. For tools and appliances, use a separate deep-cycle or lithium battery.
How much power does it use when idle?
About 15W with nothing plugged in. Over 24 hours that's roughly 30Ah from a 12V battery, so switch it off when you're not using AC power.
Does it charge my batteries?
No. It's an inverter only.
