Solar DC Brushless Water Pump System II – Off-Grid Water Solution for Farmers

Rocksolar helped us plan around our daily transfer requirement and open storage. We discussed the inlet conditions and the flow needed at the actual lift, then reviewed the package with the people handling the installation. I appreciated being helped to describe the water job properly before arranging the shipment.

The dual 48V battery setup is one of the features I appreciate most. It gives us more flexibility when sunlight changes and makes the solar water system more practical for everyday farm use.

We had a 200 ft horizontal run to the growing area and about 15 ft of elevation rise. Rocksolar asked about the inlet arrangement and pipe size so the losses could be considered at our target flow. They helped us review this transfer system without treating the entire pipe length as head. That explanation was a good reason to buy from them.

The pump is powerful, the setup is designed for off-grid use, and the combination of solar and batteries works well for our property.

This system is exactly what I needed for watering far‑off pastures. The 0.4HP brushless motor paired with the 100Ah battery runs solidly even when sun drops. No grid needed.
