Understanding bifacial output

Bifaciality describes rear-side power relative to front-side rated power under comparable illumination; it is not a guaranteed percentage increase in energy production. For the 440W model, JA Solar lists 475W in its example with a 10% rear-to-front irradiation ratio. This is a specified test scenario, not the panel's front-side nameplate rating or a guaranteed field output.

Warranty and certifications

The datasheet specifies a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power output warranty. Its performance warranty curve allows 1% degradation in the first year and 0.4% annually thereafter, reaching 87.4% of original rated power at year 30. Manufacturer warranty terms apply.
