Compare three separate specifications
- Inverter output (kW): the power rating to compare against your intended loads, subject to battery and system limits.
- Solar array (kW): the combined rated panel capacity—not a guaranteed daily energy yield.
- Battery storage (kWh): stored energy; compare usable capacity as well as nominal capacity.
Also check AC output voltage, battery compatibility, mounting requirements and the exact package contents. A grid-tie kit does not automatically provide power during an outage.
