I live off Grod full time in Canada Canada prefers den and housing crisis and they use their own citizens to enable you in as much debt as they can soooo I evaded those b@stards live illegally and this inverter replaced back rights victron 1200 to give me the ability to power anything really power tools convection oven ect and so far so good…I can’t recommend any other ones personally but your only other really good options would be samlex USA pts in 2000 or 3000 and you are paying allot more you get 3 year warranty instead of one but still when it fails outside the 3 years and by some miracle your rock solar 2000 watt inverter is still working…be glad you bought the rock solar one😛 way cheaper too, good price. Reliable so far I’m using it the most to test before one year warranty I’m not going over 80 percent max loads, any problems I’ll report back but so far this is prob best inverter I could recommend…I’m testing gopowers 3000 watt inverter in 12 volt instead of 24 volt…so far so good but that was allllot more money too and I’ve heard of them failing as wellll sooo I would probably replace go power with rock solar as well depending on how it goes…hopefully none of them failing very long time…I can’t recommend giandel because I bought two 24 volt 3000s the silver ones and they failed right around warranty am I got one replacement both inverters I tried to find electrical places to fix it I couldn’t find, I threw them in garbage an the one they sent in warranty had spotted dark silver case instead of lighter silver no spots…soooo and then I talked about it to them and in the stores in Canada they have all their crappy ones on shelves they don’t have their new improved units that won’t fail…they only have them in United States, prob Balt not enough market here for them, they are Australian Chinese made inverters..anyway I wanted a new inverter to replace victron phoenix 1200 for more power supply at least 1500 plus they rock solar is so far so good, and only inverters that I think could compete were Rich solar 2000 and Samlex USA pst 2000, that Rick solar had built in charge controller for solar I think an didn’t need that and Rick solar looked cool but had limited reviews an samlex USA has meh reviews and cost a lot more money…so honestly I’d say get rock solar. Good looking as well, well thought out design and I’m pretty sure you’ll be happy provided long term reliability is there, happy happy 😃

Works as advertised just not happy with how there is no auto "on" feature. I have the complete rocksolar system at camp and so far it has been a pain including the online support. They wont tell you the parameters of the BMS in their batteries to properly set the system. Seems like your talking to a call center not an expert. The controller settings do not match the bms or the inverter settings.( many different settings have be attempted) When the batteries discharge yes the inverter turns off. However it would be nice to set it and forget it so that the inverter turns back on automatically once the charger starts charging and the batteries come back online. Currently looking into different systems as this one was purchased with the intention of running 24/7 at camp during the camping season. 24 v system 2 400 watt panels and 2 24 v 100ah batteries. No reason this should be turning off within a day or two or three when only running a modern mini fridge. I actually had to go to a different brand and get the charge settings etc from them for their systems and used it on this system. I still would like to know the BMS settings on the batteries listed so i can set the inverter and controller accordingly.

Not sure if system will meet my demands to run a full size refridgerator on solar. I suspect that the battery needs to be twinned.

Great for my LiFePO4 home backup power system. Would purchase again if i need one in near future.l
