Description

The ROCKSOLAR 20kW Pitch Control Wind Turbine is designed for grid-connected or off grid wind energy projects at farms, commercial properties and industrial sites with suitable wind resources. Its three-blade, upwind rotor combines mechanical centrifugal pitch control with active yaw to regulate rotor speed and align the turbine with the wind.

Pitch control: Blade pitch adjusts above rated wind speed to regulate rotor speed and support stable power output.
Active yaw: The yaw drive positions the turbine in response to wind direction.

Tower and system configuration

The reference configuration uses a 20 m hub-height independent tower made from Q355 steel with a tapered polygonal structure, external flange joints and hot-dip galvanized protection. The complete wind turbine system combines the turbine, tower and an integrated controller/inverter cabinet. Tower selection, cabinet, dump load, communications, foundation design, cabling and installation scope are confirmed in the project quotation; the reference configuration is not a statement of included package contents.
