S-5-U Clamp | Standard & Mini Standing-Seam Roof Attachment

The S-5-U clamp provides a non-penetrating attachment point on compatible standing-seam metal roofs. Choose the Standard or Mini version to suit your application.

• S-5-U Standard: 2.00 in long, with two round-point setscrews. Suitable for compatible solar mounting and S-5! snow retention systems when installed according to S-5! guidance.
• S-5-U Mini: 1.18 in long, with one round-point setscrew. A smaller option for compatible solar mounting applications. Do not use the Mini with SnoRail, SnoFence, or ColorGard snow retention systems.

• Structural aluminum body and stainless steel hardware.
• Round-point setscrews dimple the seam without piercing the roof panel.
• Fits many vertical standing-seam profiles and, when rotated 90 degrees, most horizontal 2-inch seam profiles.

Compatibility and installation

Confirm your exact seam profile and required load capacity before ordering. Do not use on copper roofing or horizontal seams under 0.65 in. Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions and test data. Tighten setscrews to 160–180 in-lb on 22-gauge steel or 130–150 in-lb on other metals and thinner steel; recheck tension after the seam material compresses.
